ABSTRACT
The article discusses the strategy of transparency adopted by The Mountain States Health Alliance (MSHA), a Tennessee state-based hospitals system and winner of National Quality Healthcare Award. According to Tamera A. Parsons, Vice president, quality and patient safety, MSHA, incorporation of the right principles and guidelines such as knowledge sharing between patient and multiple department of hospital or 10-year plan to focus on population healthcare, into the people was the key to success.
