ABSTRACT
The article discusses New Zealand's participation in the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Highlights included a standing ovation for its official entry, "Mr. Pip," the billing of "West of Memphis" as a Wingnut Films Production where post production will be done in New Zealand and the shooting of the Hollywood film "The Emperor" in 32 New Zealand locations plus a lot of local talents. A post-screening interview featured "Mr. Pip" star Hugh Laurie and director Andrew Adamson.
