ABSTRACT
The article reports on an increased emphasis on the prevention of disease which is expected to be seen in U.S. health care in 2012 and beyond as a result of the passage of health care reform legislation. A discussion of the role that chiropractors can play in preventing disease by counseling patients on exercise, nutrition, stress reduction, lifestyle modification and risk avoidance, is presented.
