ABSTRACT
The article reports on the political campaign of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of Bihar, Indian that was used by teachers as a platform of protest against the state government. Teachers on contract demand honorarium and a comparable wage with regular teachers. In his campaign, Kumar speculates a life without his alliance partner, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). It was noted that police threat during his campaign had an effect on his people-friendly image.
