ABSTRACT
The article reports on the documentation made by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives (CCPA) on the dismantling of the regulatory system of Canada in 2012. It mentions that one of the harbingers on the government of Prime Minister Stephen Harper was its attack on the Canadian Wheat Board (CWB), such as tampering the elections of its board of directors. The removal of the Fisheries Act reveals the depths to which the government of Harper will sink to offer industry a free hand.
