ABSTRACT
The article discusses the use of a biometric system as an enterprise security solutions. State-owned Brazilian bank CaixaBank uses the fingerprint readers from Lumidigm Inc. in its Bolsa Família Program for low income families. It states that fingerprint biometrics are utilized in automated teller machines (ATMs) to improve security and reduce the problems of identity theft.
