GO WEST: Eyeing expansion, Quebec's Polykar bulks up with new bag converting system

The company adopted a 1400DBS clamp-stacking bag converting system from CMD Corporation to enhance creation of up to 1,000 bags a minute, and added a CMD 5213ED rotary bag machine and a CMD 1113 coreless bag winder to produce star seal trash bags. Polykar has been making plastic bags since its formation in 1987, where its main operations are in Saint-Laurent, Quebec.
