ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the journal's 11th Think Tank Awards. The awards recognise those who inject public debate with vital new ideas and the main criteria are: originality, and influence on that debate or on government policy. The shortlist of five in the Think tank of the year category included the Resolution Foundation, founded in 2005, the Institute for Fiscal Studies, and The King's Fund, the large health policy research unit.
