ABSTRACT
The article reports on the challenges that many chiropractors face when attempting to submit an error-free, denial proof claim for to an insurance company. A discussion of several common billing code errors which chiropractors make, including supplying the wrong National Provider Identifier number, inserting spaces in the identifier number or listing more than one diagnosis in a form's diagnosis pointer box, is presented.
