ABSTRACT
An article discussing the standard normalization (DIN 32708) of the transcriptions used for the writing of Japanese Kana characters using the Latin alphabet is presented. This new draft version of the standards can be viewed online and comments and suggestions for improvement can be shared between July of 2012 and November of the same year, when the new Deutsches Institut für Normung (German Institute for Standardization) rules will be finalized.
