The article offers the author's insights on the externalities in Europe with regards to flower and plant industry. The author states that externalities arise from an economic activity which impact people and businesses not just the people who exercised the economic activity. He mentions the need for the Italian and European flower and plant industry to invest in promotion, advertising and participation in trade fairs to address such externalities that could affect the industry.
