ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the flint-lock dueling pistols which was a heirloom from Thomas Turner. It states that when Turner received the pistols after his grandfather, Colonel Thomas Turner, died. It mentions that Turner gave the pistols as a gift to George Washington, because of his admiration to the character of Washington. It says that the pistols was donated by Clendenin Ryan to the West Point Museum after he bought it from Edward Litchfield.
