Isopropanol: Rapid Expansion of the Capacity and Slow Growth of the Consumption

The article reports on the development of the isopropanol in China. It indicates that many businesses are using isopropanol due to the successful application of acetone hydrogenation process, including Zhejiang Jiande Jianye Organic Chemical Co. Ltd., Zhejiang Xinhua Chemical Co. Ltd., and PetroChina Jinzhou Petrochemical Co. Ltd. It states that the consumption of isopropanol in other sectors including cleaning agents, disinfectants, and detergents accounts for around 7% of the total.
