"Mechatronify" common mechanisms

The article provides an example of what it means to mechatronify a mechanism or machine. Combining old inventions such as Leonardo da Vinci's slider-crank mechanism with new technology is presented to result in innovative ideas. Mathematical solution is suggested to be more effective in mechatronic system design and optimization. The use of inverse kinetic analysis is cited to result in an actuator that is part of a control system that would yield a new speed/torque-force profile.
