ABSTRACT
The author discusses the use of online social networking sites by various companies related to tourism. The author states that the social sites are meant to give a leverage to travelers in getting better services and offers, however, most companies use them for their own advertising and censor unwanted news. Also, the companies like JetBlues Airways Corp. and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts LLC have used social sites like Facebook and Twitter for their sales promotion and marketing.
