ABSTRACT
The article presents the panel discussion held by the Middle East Institute (MEI) at the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) building in Washington DC on August 16, 2012 to talk about "Iraq and the Politics of Oil." The event was moderated by MEI scholar Allen Keiswetter. Iraqi Embassy's Naufel Al-Hassan boasted the growth of Iraq's oil industry. The comment by PFC Energy's Al Kadiri on the issue is also cited.
