ABSTRACT
The article discusses the resumption of growth in automobile sales in India. Despite increasing investment and supply chain complexity, investments in the country remains strong, with over 50 new models expected over the next 12-18 months across original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). This has spurred increased demand among tier suppliers, inbound and outbound logistics providers. Developments include growth at Mahindra & Mahindra and ongoing investments from Ford and General Motors.
