The article looks at the value of ideas in business. The author points out that ideas have no substance while they are still in the inventor's head. The benefit of putting one's ideas in front of an audience is considered. She recommends discussing one's ideas with target consumers and then integrating their feedback; consulting potential down-the-line backers for their reaction; and asking other entrepreneurs for their opinions on potential challenges.
