ABSTRACT
The article reports on the covert participation of Iran in the Syrian revolution. Syrian rebels have captured several Iranian fighters who were turned over to Turkish authorities. Majority of the Syrian rebels believe that the real enemy is not Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, but Iran which is bent on maintaining its influence in the Middle East.
