ABSTRACT
The article discusses the impact of the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court which threw out part of President Barack Obama's healthcare reform that will leave more people uninsured. According to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), about 3 million Americans will receive insurance coverage which voided the provision that requires the expansion of the Medicaid coverage to the poor. The anticipation that the cost of expanding coverage will reduce to $84 billion is also mentioned.
