The article examines the incidence of vaginal bleeding and endometrial cancer in postmenopausal women. It identifies the causes of vaginal bleeding in various age groups of postmenopausal women, such as the benign endometrial polyps. The study shows that age-related differential diagnosis can be used by clinical practitioners for counseling of postmenopausal women with vaginal bleeding. The study also found a high prevalence of malignant disorders, such as carcinoma of cervix and endometrium.
