ABSTRACT
Iodine use as an antibiotic/antiviral/antifungal has been completely ignored by modern medicine as big Pharma has no financial interest in looking at iodine and its products. Iodine offers a serious and effective replacement for much of the antibiotics that are literally destroying people's lives and can be used safely with children. Iodine is indicated for the treatment and prevention of infection in wounds including ulcers, burns, cuts and other minor injuries. The greatest benefit of iodine intake is its effectiveness in killing Candida and other fungi and microbes. Iodine is indicated along with antithyroid medicines to prepare the thyroid gland for surgical removal and to treat certain overactive thyroid conditions (hyperthyroidism, thyroid storm). Nascent iodine is assimilable, effective, and easy to consume and perhaps the least toxic and least irritating of all the iodine formulas available. Iodine provides us with a safe way to strengthen our own immune system against invading microbes while simultaneously correcting a widespread and critical nutritional deficiency that causes immunological unresponsiveness. Iodine blocks the thyroid gland from absorbing radioactive iodine in case of radiation exposure emergency, protecting it from damage and reducing the risk of thyroid cancer.
