ABSTRACT
The management of fractures with open reduction in edentulous patient is generally considered difficult as mandible becomes weak due to reduced vascularity & which can further be reduced after the surgical procedures. Conservative management in such cases may therefore have a distinct advantage as a treatment option which may include the use of patient's existing dentures, Gunning splints external fixation or no treatment at all. This article describes a step by step procedure of fabrication of Gunning Splint for management of patient with fracture of partially edentulous mandible.
