ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's comments on why programs based on zombies are not considered for the Emmy Awards. According to the author, an Emmy award victory helps build ratings of not just the program but the ratings of the directors and producers of the show. The author says that an executive at a network whose show has won an Emmy Award, gets to enjoy respect and envy from peers. The author believes that genre shows are generally left out and are not considered for the Emmy Awards.
