ABSTRACT
The article reports that several studies examine the relationship between religiosity and beliefs about premarital sex. It is stated that religiosity can be defined with different parameters ranging from religious affiliation to church attendance rates to self-reported views about the importance of religion. It is stated that church attendance and feelings about the importance of religion are the most commonly used measures of religiosity in the research literature.
