Country Report
The article focuses on Indonesian cocoa production and trade. Analysts project cocoa output for 2011-2012 to reach 460,000 tons, which is an improvement from the 2010-2011 crop. Hence, supply coming from the Southeast Asian country will loosen the global supply as the market anticipates a deficit coming from West Africa. Indonesian producers are expected to thwart diseases and pests affecting production.
