ABSTRACT
Two news briefs on the topic of education and school boards are presented. The National School Boards Association (NSBA) released a report titled "Searching for the Reality of Virtual Schools," discussing the effectiveness of research done on online classes for kindergarten through 12th grade (K-12) students. The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida won the 24th annual Kennedy Center Alliance for Arts Education Network (KCAAEN) and NSBA award for supporting arts education.
