ABSTRACT

Amid pressure to compromise, Germany made some signals, but it's not clear how far creditor nations will go along with a banking union or other joint liability schemes. European economic data keep getting worse and Greece's (euro-busting?) election looms June 17. But Spanish yields retreated from recent highs.
