ABSTRACT
Macromolecules with quenched random disorder along the chain and long range interaction between the monomers are studied. Averaging over the quenched disorder results in a collapse regime for the macromolecule. The mean-square radius depends on the polymer length L as a power law =∼L1/3 for large length, whereas for short length a repulsion regime =∼L2/3 was predicted. The thermodynamic equation of state for a diluted solution of these macromolecules is determined.
