A New Zero-Watermarking Scheme Based on Features Extraction for Authentication of Text

ABSTRACT
Text is the most frequently used medium traveling over the internet besides image, audio, and video. The copyright protection of plain text is the most important issue. In this paper, we propose a robust zero-watermarking algorithm, which integrates the robust features extraction method and timestamp information together to protect the copyright of text documents. We firstly extract robust features from the text content using the proposed robust features extraction method. The watermark information is generated through the combination of these robust features and timestamp information. Then the watermark information will be registered to the third party which is Certifying Authority (CA). When a copyright dispute occurs, the watermark information will be detected by the CA. The experimental results show that our algorithm is robust, secure and efficient with minimal computational requirements.
