ABSTRACT
Based on the fractal theory and the energy probability, this paper proposes a new image target segmentation algorithm. The new algorithm can very precisely segment the target from the natural images. In order to improve the spatial resolution of the image target, the fractal dimension is used to detect the images target. In order to be able to precisely segment the image target, the energy probability model is used to distinguish the target and the background in the image. The experimental results and data analysis have shown that this paper method can realize the image target segmentation, and have a good ability of restraining noise, which has improved the quality of the image segmentation.
