ABSTRACT
With the adaptation of the World Wide Web predicts the inevitable acceptance for digital publishing. Digital content has the ease in convenience with the operation of any mobile device to enable users to acquire information in any time and place, reading has never been easier. Other than a computer, the hand-held reading devices such as Sony Reader and Amazon's Kindle have propelled the trending of e-book learning. Hence, will the inherent characteristic of an e-book that embodies the digital content and the technologic convenience of the device affect the user's motive in adaptation? Therefore, this research attempts to use Technology Acceptance Model as the basic foundation for explaining the adaptation of e-books, and how the users encounter factors such as the new technology interface satisfaction, cognitive perceptiveness, convenience, richness, attitude in use, satisfaction of the experience and future intention to use e-book.
