ABSTRACT
The article reports on the biopharmaceutical industry's view regarding technological innovations. According to BioPlan Associate's annual survey on bioprocessing trends and innovation, respondents reported high budget increases for new technologies and vendor respondents reported an average 1.9 increase in basic research and development (R&D) for product development. It also mentions major trends that contributed to improved bioprocessing which include legacy expression systems.
