ABSTRACT
The article reports on the economic condition of Slovakia as of June 2012 highlighting its financial condition. It states that data from the Finance Ministry revealed that tax revenues increased sharply, however results were negatively affected by lesser grants and transfers. It adds that budget deficit reached 4.8 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) which is below the target. A chart depicting Slovakia's financial results are also presented.
