ABSTRACT
Presents a study that prepared a metal-semiconductor-metal Schottky diode, in which gold and aluminum were used as metals and freshly prepared polythiophene as a semiconductor. Role played by metal-semiconductor devices in contemporary electronics; Attempts at fabrication and interpretation of current-voltage and capacitance-voltage characteristics of metal-polymer Schottky diodes. Measurement of I-V characteristics of the diode using a Keithly model 610 C electrometer.
