ABSTRACT
Light scattering measurements have been performed on dilute gelatin gels to determine the spinodal curve through Tanaka’s mean-field approach of density fluctuations in gels. The spinodal zone has been found to be much below the sol–gel transition line determined through differential scanning calorimetry measurements.
