ABSTRACT
The article reports on the capability priorities that will be discussed by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) at its summit meeting to be held in Chicago, Illinois from May 21 to 22, 2012. They include the Afghan War and the trans-Atlantic relationship, as well as the need to improve allied capabilities. An initial operational capability for NATO territorial missile defense would also be declared by allied leaders.
