The authors offer their perspective on the "20/20: A Vision for the Future of Counseling" initiative. The authors say that the initiative calls on all counselors and counselor educators to recognize and consider changes vital for the sustainability and growth of the counseling profession. The authors note that they comment on what they consider to be the vital strategic areas in the vision as it is not clear to what extent future counselor educators have participated in the initiative.
