ABSTRACT
The article discusses the factors involved in adopting Impulse Control® and IC Toolkit™ for Internet LockDown with biometric integration developed by the U.S. Internet Probation and Parole Control (IPPC) to ensure sex offenders were using computers in a positive way. The technology used for data capture for the supervision case was approved for use in multiple jurisdictions. Integrity of the data and offender's confidentiality was maintained to be admissible in the U.S. courts.
