ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the mediation process and offers practical, objective and useful insights for the participants in the mediation process. The history and growth of mediation, need of practice and experience and the perspectives of an insurance underwriter are discussed. The need of thoughtful reflection, respectful application of the process and personal injury disputes are also discussed.
