ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the need to be a moral imperative and/or economic incentive to engage business leaders. It states that reducing waste and increasing efficiency is sustainability at its simplest form. Improvements in sustainability are measured implicitly by successful business leaders via risk mitigation, cost savings, and productivity gains. Financial profitability, environmental integrity, and social responsibility are sustainability's triple bottom line of profitability.
