ABSTRACT
The article presents a study which examined the role played by changes in employee's lifestyle, corporate culture, and greed on the fraudulent behavior of an employee. It says that more sophisticated ways of committing fraud successfully were the continuous technological advancement, fewer proactive fraud prevention measures, and reduced internal controls. The result of the study shows that one factor that motivates an employee to commit fraud was the corporate culture and fraud risk awareness.
