ABSTRACT
The article discusses the practical application of graphene in photonics. It is inferred that graphene can be used as transparent conductors for touch screens and electrical contacts on solar cells. A brief overview on graphene is provided which is the fundamental building block of graphite with carbon atoms arranged in hexagonal patterns.
