Nanoantennas streamline photomixing terahertz source capabilities

The article discusses strategies to enhance the applications of nanoantenna using typical interdigitated structures. It highlights the result of a study, which indicates that incorporating nanoantenna structures into a photomixer can enhance emission. It notes that nanoantenna-incorporated photomixer can also provide high efficient, compact continuous-wave (CW) terahertz sources for high-resolution imaging and spectroscopy systems.
