ABSTRACT
NOT for the first time, Rafa Nadal is the firm favourite to win the French Open at Roland Garros, where he is bidding for a seventh title in eight years. Ominously for his rivals, the Spaniard, who is 8-11, goes into the event, which begins on Sunday, on a high after beating world No1 Novak Djokovic in the final of the Rome Masters. Djokovic (9-4) is aiming to become the first man to hold all four Grand Slam titles for 43 years. Roger Federer (7-1) and Andy Murray (22-1) are likely to have to beat the world's top two players to win. David Ferrer is a lively outsider at 40-1.
