ABSTRACT
RYSTAL Palace is set to reverberate to the thrilling sound of highly tuned engines and protesting tyres this weekend, for Motorsport at the Palace. Running tomorrow and Sunday, it builds on the success of the 2010 and 2011 events, and will see an eclectic selection of vehicles performing against the clock on the north-east section of the former racing circuit. The organisers say that the event which last year attracted more than 5,500 show-goers will be even bigger and better this year, with more fun family attractions. On circuit, a range of classic and veteran cars will compete for the fastest time up the hill, while low emission and electric cars will be whizzing up the track too, underlining motor racing's role in the development of planet-friendly technology.
