The article presents information on a proclamation issued by U.S. President Barack Obama regarding the celebration of May 15, 2012 as the 150th Anniversary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to encourage all U.S. citizens to observe these appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities which honor USDA for its lasting contributions to the welfare of our Nation.
