ABSTRACT
The article presents information on a notice issued by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the U.S. Department of Transportation in response to a petition submitted by Boeing Co. which seeks exemption for the design and performance requirements of the fire protection systems. This notice has been issued for increasing public participation in the FAA regulatory activities. The FAA is seeking public comments on this notice by June 6, 2012 via electronic mail, fax or in writings.
