ABSTRACT
The article offers information on a notice issued by the Federal Aviation Administration of the U.S. Department of Transportation regarding modification in existing airworthiness directive (AD) for certain airbus models of Airbus SAS. The new AD requires the modification of certain additional center tanks by replacing the main hole with a new seal. The AD has been issued to prevent fuel and vapor leakage. This AD will be effective from June 21, 2012.
