ABSTRACT
The article presents information on a final rule issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regarding revision of its rules for implementation of the 1997 eight hour ozone national air quality standards which has been vacated by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. The final rule has been issued in accordance with the U.S. Clean Air Act. Information on a state implementation plan which has been prepared by the EPA in this regard is presented.
